The past weekened welcomed over 100 participants in the Resolution no-ordinary weekend. The prevailing NW provided a perfect course for a slalom route from main beach Langebaan on Saturday afternoon. A series of four races, in increasingly light wind, meant those who did not have specific course boards and big kites were disadvantaged.  A great fun weekend was had by all and the generous prize purse of R15,000.00 was enjoyed by the competitors.

Other records

18 year old Capetonian, Marc Avella, completed a 50 mile long distance ski at a speed of 60kts in 1hr 10 mins. He won a prize of R500.00. The course he took was from main beach Langebaan, to Club Mykonos, to Saldanha and back to Langebaan.

Special mention must be made to the youngest participant Dylan Adriens and the eldest Wolfgang!
