With the prevailing North Wester for the weekend in Langebaan, the Resolution Downwind Dash as we know it, will be turned into a, “No Ordinary Weekend”.

The Provisional Programme for the weekend is as follows;
(Note that all events are dependant on wind and wave conditions)

Friday 5th February 2010 – Lagoon Sports, Langebaan main beach
Late registration and collection of goodie bags from 17h00 to 20h00.
Participants will be advised of the programme for the week end at this briefing at 20h00.
In addition, there will be demos and brand presentations from the following brands; Core Kiteboarding, Cabrinha, Liquid Force, Medac braces and Firewire Kiteboards. A light meal and beers will be available.

6th February 2010 – Langebaan main beach
Registration on the main beach from 10h00 to 13h00  - look out for the military tent
11h00 Marc’s speed and endurance ski record racing attempt – EU champion Marc Avella attempts a world record for long distance skiing from Langebaan main beach, to Club Mykonos, to the Iron ore peer and back to Langebaan main beach.
12h00 Parasailing demonstrations – sign up at Lagoon Sports
Skippers briefing at 13h30
Slalom racing starting at 14h00
Dash Thrash at Club Mykonos and fun prize giving from 19h00 ‘til late;
Emarie, the Slingshot kites designer, will play an hour of acoustic music while guests enjoy the traditional fish braai.
